I had been in communciation with Dekalb County Florist via email prior to my visit in person. When I arrived in person, I spoke to the lady at the desk and told her that I was looking for an arrangement for the vase on my mother's gravestone. She first sympathized with my loss and then asked me what kind of flowers I was looking for. I explained a few things to her, and she showed me some samples of things already made. I told her that I would like to have a similar bouquet to one of the samples with different colors. She wrote down my request and told me that they would take a photo and send it to me after it was placed. I was leaving town in a couple of days, and I politely asked if they could possibly get it placed before I left so that I could see it myself. She said that they would definitely try. Other members of the staff were in the store and also very polite during our visit. They were friendly and made conversation with us. For something that was so difficult to do (flowers for my mother's gravestone), they made me feel more at ease. The flowers were placed a day or so before I left, so I was able to see them in person. The arrangement was so beautiful, and my mother would have loved it. Thank you so much, Dekalb Florist! You went above and beyond! I'll definitely be a return customer and will 100% recommend to others!
I live in another state now, but used DCF for flowers and special gifts when l lived in Smithville and from Georgia . The staff are always helpful, patient and kind. Every item I purchased is good quality and the flowers perfect. This business is well over 10 stars!
